• Do
you have beautiful art, music compositions, writings, and/or archives
of other unique works that you or a loved one created and now want
preserved?
• Have
you been wanting to share with your relatives and friends your
personal history or memoirs (through a video or book), full of
meaningful stories and photos
about
the highlights of your creative life and
lessons
you've
learned so far?
• Do you ever
feel excited, yet maybe overwhelmed with the amount of
works (created by you, a family member or friend) lying around
in your home or storage unit....then wondering what
to
do with it all?
• Does a "little voice" inside you
keep nudging you to do something to preserve your own or a loved one's
personal stories and creative legacy...before time passes on, when it
might be too late?
• Has
it ever occurred to you that there are attractive ways to preserve
your personal history and unique treasures,
so that they won't just fade away when
the creator of them eventually passes on?
SOMEDAY HAS ARRIVED to share your personal history and preserve
all those special works created by you and/or a talented
artist, musician, writer, designer, or any kind of creative person
in your family...before it is too late!
There are
a myriad of possibilities for sharing a person's creative gifts,
full
of rich personal stories, images, music,
biography, and photos: through a video,
website, DVD, CD, portfolio, PowerPoint presentation, coffee table
book, MP3 file ... in order to create a COLLAGE
of COLOR, MUSIC and MOOD as
a sustainable tribute to be cherished forever.
As
the logo for this website symbolizes, the purple aster flower bursting
into bloom outside the circular globe image is a
metaphor to symbolize “out
of the circle”thinking and creativity, which Blooming Creatives
wants to promote and encourage in its designing life tributes business.
How much Mixie loves to coach, co-design,
and collaborate with her clients the creation of a "living" archive
of their personal histories and unique work, as well as the creativity
of a special, gifted individual in one's family (deceased
or still living)…….so that (like an ongoing blooming perennial
flower) this highly creative person's legacy will live on and on for
years to come!
She is passionate about honoring one’s
unique creativity and personal history, and finds great joy in the
archiving process (especially through videos) to design a living
tribute, since it brings out both
her clients' and her own creativity as well.
Through her current experience
of creating (with her sister, Elizabeth Kingman) an archived personal
history tribute for her own dad (an immensely talented artist),
plus
her years
of professional training in web design,
creating collages and portfolios, psychology, music, personal
branding, and
creativity coaching... Mixie has a passion for assisting
others wishing to honor the creative gifts of a loved one (or
even themselves).
